Keep cool when the mercury climbs

Most sleeping bag liners are about adding warmth, but the Breeze Lightweight is designed for those sweltering summer nights when even your lightweight bag feels like being wrapped in a duvet during a Death Valley heatwave. The blend of Coolmax EcoMade and Tencel Lyocell wicks moisture away from your skin and dries quickly, preventing you from turning into a sticky, sweat-soaked mess. The super-stretchy fabric means you can use it as a standalone sheet, or inside a bag to protect the inner from sweat, odour and general body fug. A drawcord footbox lets you vent from below when you need extra airflow, and the armholes have snap closures so you're not trapped inside when you inevitably wake up too warm. At 275g for the Regular, it's light enough to bring along just in case, and the HeiQ Fresh treatment means it won't get disgusting even when the mercury soars.

  • What is it that attracts us to the idea of adventure? For Sea to Summit, itโ€™s about freedom and self-reliance โ€“ the ability not just to survive, but to thrive in any environment. But although the brand takes its gear seriously, it does so with trademark Aussie humour and blunt, no bullsh*t candour. Thatโ€™s the way itโ€™s always been, ever since founder Roland Tyson made his first outdoor gear on an old industrial sewing machine in his childhood bedroom back in 1983, at the age of 17. Soon he was designing and manufacturing equipment for other Australian adventurers โ€“ and in 1991, he outfitted an unusual first ascent of Everest, in the form of a 1,126 kilometre journey from sea level to the mountainโ€™s 8,848-metre summit. The name Sea to Summit was born.

In 1993, Roland was joined by Penny Sanderson, another Aussie explorer and innovator. Their designs were honed on their adventures, as they spent months climbing, sailing, trekking, overlanding and biking. Nearly thirty years later, Sea to Summit is still 100% Aussie owned and operated, and still putting painstakingly designed gear into the hands of customers worldwide.
